About the Bank Account Online Registration for Tuition Fee Payment
This page is where you can register your bank account online to pay Nagoya University tuition fees by bank transfer (direct debit).
Nagoya University relies on The Mitsubishi UFJ Factors Limited for its payment collection services.
When a bank transfer is made, it will appear in your bankbook as "DF.ナゴヤダイガ(DF. Nagoya Univ.)" or similar.

[1] Things to Check Before Registering
1-1. People who need to register their bank accounts (online registration))
- People who newly enrolled at or transferred to Nagoya University this academic year
- Online bank account registration is required for students advancing from a Nagoya University master's program to the doctoral program this academic year and students advancing from a Nagoya University undergraduate program to the master's program this academic year, regardless of whether or not there are any changes in the bank account information from the one you registered before. (Please register using your newly issued Student ID Number.)
- Current Nagoya University students who wish to change their registered bank account
※ You only need to register your bank account once; that is, when you enroll in or advance to a school of Nagoya University. You do not need to complete these procedures if you are a current student and are not switching from the bank account you already have registered, as the same bank account will continue to be used. -
Online bank account registration is required also for those applying for tuition fee exemption, as the tuition fee will be withdrawn depending on the outcome of the result announcement.

If you have not yet arrived in Japan and do not have a Japanese bank account, please register your bank account online upon arriving in Japan.
1-2. Please check if your financial institution is one that can be registered and what information will be necessary to verify your identity. Please also check your bank's hours of operation.

1-3. Please register a bank account under either you, your parents/guardian, or a guarantor's name.
1-4. Important Procedural Notes
• The following devices, operating systems, and internet browsers are supported:
• Computers with internet access

Browser: Internet Explorer 11; Edge; Chrome
• Smartphones/tablets with internet access
OS: iOS 12, 13, 14, 15; Android 9, 10, 11, 12
Browser: Safari, Chrome
※Feature phones (a.k.a. "non-smartphones") cannot be used.
[2] Things to Have Ready Before Registering
2-1. Nagoya University Student ID Number (please check your Student ID Card)
2-2. Student's date of birth (Western calendar)
2-3. Account information for the bank account you are registering (bankbook, etc.)
2-4. Information necessary to verify your identity at your bank (see Section 1-2)
Please note that the PIN you entered for identity verification at your bank is required to verify your identity at this bank.
It will not be sent to Nagoya University.

3-1. Important Procedural Points

- If you are inactive for an extended period in any section, you will be timed out.
- Please be sure to complete all steps until you reach the Registration Complete page. If you stop partway through, the registration process will not be completed.
