Finding the right place to live is essential for your success at Nagoya University. We offer multiple housing options designed to meet your needs and budget. Nagoya University operates multiple international residences including International Ohmeikan, International Residence Daiko, and International Residence Yamate. These dormitories offer furnished single rooms with shared common areas and essential amenities. They are specifically designed to support international students and foster cross-cultural exchange within the university community.

Students who cannot secure university dormitory accommodation or prefer alternative arrangements can access private rental options through partnerships with local real estate agencies and housing services. The university provides guidance and support for finding suitable private accommodation, including assistance with lease procedures and housing consultations held regularly throughout the year. Monthly rent for private accommodation in the Nagoya area typically ranges from ¥35,000 to ¥60,000 for single rooms.
