The Nagoya University Outstanding Graduate Student Award is awarded to selected graduate students in a doctoral program at the University who have demonstrated excellence in both character and academic research and who have been recommended by the Dean of their graduate school and their academic advisor.
Eligible Candidates
Eligible candidates are Nagoya University students who satisfy all of the following criteria:
- Students who are enrolled in a doctoral program at a graduate school of the University (in principle, limited to those who have been enrolled for a period not exceeding the standard minimum duration of studies)
- Students who display excellence in both character and academic research
- Students who are recommended by the Dean of their graduate school and their academic advisor
Number of Recipients
The maximum number of recipients is 10 persons per year; the recipient will be awarded a certificate, along with an 500,000 yen incentive scholarship.
