To all students
We would like to express our deepest sympathies to those affected by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
Nagoya University has sent everyone a safety confirmation email, so please be sure to respond to the "Safety Confirmation System" even if you are not affected.
If you have not received the email, please access the URL below, enter your THERS account details and fill in the form.
Classes (Liberal Arts and Science Courses and Specialized Courses (undergraduate and graduate schools)) will be held as usual from Wednesday, January 10. If you returned home or traveled to an affected region and are unable to return to Nagoya and attend classes by January 10, please contact the instructor in charge of the class through TACT, etc., as well as the Student Affairs Section of your undergraduate/graduate school (see link below for contact information).
If you or your family members suffered serious damage from the earthquake and have any problems, such as disruption of your studies, please contact the Student Affairs Section of your undergraduate/graduate school (see link below for contact information) or the Student Affairs Planning Division of the Education & International Affairs Department. It is not unusual to feel anxious at a time like this. If you continue to experience anxiety or worries, please feel free to contact the Student Counseling Center.
There is also fake and uncertain information on social media, etc., so please make sure to obtain up-to-date and correct information.
