The Nature Index 2016 Japan has announced the ranking of Japan's leading institutions for high-quality science (including universities, the National Institutes of Natural Sciences, RIKEN, the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology), based on papers published in selected academic journals on natural sciences.
According to the new rankings, Nagoya University was ranked 6th in Japan in the overall rankings. Details of the University's rankings are as follows:
