The Nagoya University AY2021 Entrance Ceremony will be held with measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Please note that other steps may be taken, such as format changes or cancellation, depending on the state of spread of COVID-19 in the prefecture and nationwide. Any such changes will be announced on the University website, so please check back regularly.

April 5, 2021 (Monday) Incoming undergraduate students may participate in person, while incoming graduate students are asked to participate online. (1) 9:30-9:45: School of Humanities, School of Law, School of Science (2) 10:15-10:30: School of Economics, School of Informatics, School of Agricultural Sciences (3) 11:00-11:15: School of Engineering (excluding the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering) (4) 11:45-12:00: School of Education, School of Engineering Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, School of Medicine
*The AY2020 Entrance Ceremony will be held during 13:30-14:30 on the same day. |

Group (1) must enter Toyoda Auditorium by 9:20. Group (2) must enter Toyoda Auditorium by 10:05. Group (3) must enter Toyoda Auditorium by 10:50. Group (4) must enter Toyoda Auditorium by 11:35. People with a fever or other cold-like symptoms may not enter the Auditorium. (We will conduct temperature checks at the entrance.) Other attendees (e.g. relatives of new students) will not be admitted. The ceremony will be livestreamed on the Nagoya University website, so please watch there. |
Please make sure to avoid the 3C's (especially in and around Toyoda Auditorium), wear a mask, wash your hands, maintain cough etiquette, and disinfect thoroughly.
