HRH Princess Chulabhorn of Thailand Visits Nagoya University

Her Royal Highness (HRH) Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol of Thailand visited Nagoya University on November 22, 2016, to discuss academic exchange between the HRH Princess Chulabhorn College of Medical Science in Thailand and the School of Medicine at Nagoya University. She planned to establish the college to celebrate the 90th birthday of the late Monarch of Thailand Bhumibol Adulyadej, and is now promoting the preparations of its opening.

The discussion started with welcoming remarks by Nagoya University Trustee Yoshihito Watanabe and Nagoya University Hospital Director Naoki Ishiguro. Then, Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine Vice Deans Toyoshi Fujimoto, Kinji Ohno, and Tetsuhito Kojima explained about the School of Medicine, including its educational research system, followed by a question-and-answer session.

We hope that her visit will deepen the exchange between her college and our School of Medicine.
