Dr. Chikako Nakajima, Assistant Professor at the Nagoya University Graduate School of Science, has been given the 8th Bioindustry Incentive Award for her research on "Development of a method to promote neural regeneration and recovery of brain function using artificial scaffold materials in brain injury".
The Bioindustry Incentive Award was launched on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Bioindustry Association of Japan in 2017, with the slogan "Cutting-edge research creates the world - a new era of biotechnology".
The award recognizes promising young researchers and their achievements in application-oriented research related to bioscience and biotechnology.
