Six Nagoya University students have been awarded the Akasaki Students' Incentive Prize for 2024. Established in 2022 in honor of Professor Isamu Akasaki, one of Nagoya University's six Nobel laureates, the prize recognizes Nagoya University PhD students who have made exceptional efforts in their fields.
2024's awardees are Issei Manabe (Graduate School of Education and Human Development), Masaya Hagai and Yuto Yamanouchi (Graduate School of Science), Hiroshi Sato (Graduate School of Engineering), Akira Ashida (Graduate School of Bioagricultural Science) and Akihiro Oniwa (Graduate School of Medicine).
