Nagoya University sincerely regrets to announce that the university fall entrance ceremony scheduled for October 1, 2020 (Thursday) has been cancelled. This decision has been made out of consideration for the number of new students who cannot come to Japan, to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, and to prioritize the health and safety of all participants.
The entrance ceremony is a joyous occasion for students, their guardians and the other important people in their lives. This decision was not taken lightly, and it is with the deepest regret that we announce its cancellation.
We congratulate our students on their entrance into Nagoya University and we will make every effort to support their academic and other various endeavors.
