Michitaka Notaguchi, Associate Professor at the Nagoya University Bioscience and Biotechnology Center, part of the Graduate School of Agriculture, has been awarded the 2022 JSPS Prize.
The prize, awarded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, aims to promote the work of exceptional young researchers and support the development of world-class research in Japan. It was awarded to Associate Professor Notaguchi for his research on grafting and systemic signaling in plants, the process in which plants coordinate activity using signaling molecules.
