The Nagoya University Language Education Center was officially established on April 3, 2023, in a ceremony led by Nagoya University President Naoshi Sugiyama and Center Director Professor Jun’ichi Sakuma.
The Center consolidates Nagoya University’s foreign language education programs for Japanese students and Japanese language education programs for international students, with the aim of enhancing intercultural exchange, encouraging students to acquire the language skills necessary to study abroad, and promoting co-curricular language learning throughout the university.
