Prof. Hiroyoshi Nishikawa Receives the 2020 SITC ‘Team Science Award

Professor Hiroyoshi Nishikawa of the Graduate School of Medicine at Nagoya University (Chief of the Division of Cancer Immunology, Research Institute/EPOC, at the National Cancer Center Japan) has won the 2020 SITC "Team Science Award" by the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) in U.S., a world’s leading member-driven organization specifically dedicated to improving cancer patient outcomes by advancing the science and application of cancer immunotherapy.

The SITC Team Science Award recognizes teams of scientists that have made a long-standing contribution to the field of biological therapy/immunotherapy over the past 35 years. Prof. Nishikawa was given this award for his dedicated work as a member of the team led by the late Lloyd J. Old, MD, who established the research field of cancer immunology.
