GraduateSchool of Engineering Professor Kazuaki Ishihara was awarded the 27th (FY2010) Inoue Prize for Science by the Inoue Foundation for Science. An award ceremony was held on Friday, February 4th, 2011.
The Inoue Prize for Science recognizes outstanding fundamental research in the natural sciences conducted by researchers under the age of 50.
Professor Ishihara's award-winning research topic was entitled 'Design of Highly Functional Dynamic Complex Catalysts Based on Acid-base Combination Chemistry'.
