RU 11 Issues Policy Proposal on ‘The Fundamental Strengthening of the Basis for Research: Japan’s Responsibility in the Age of Globalization

The presidents of the "Research University 11", made up of 11 universities that assume a leading role in cutting-edge research and human resource development in Japan (Hokkaido University, Tohoku University, University of Tsukuba, The University of Tokyo, Waseda University, Keio University, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Nagoya University, Kyoto University, Osaka University, and Kyushu University), have issued a policy proposal on "The Fundamental Strengthening of the Basis for Research: Japan’s Responsibility in the Age of Globalization" as follows:
