Details of the AY2020 Graduation Ceremony

The ceremonies for undergraduate students and graduate students will be held twice each at separate times, for a total of 4 ceremonies.

〇1st Graduation Ceremony for Undergraduate Students (9:20 a.m. to 9:50 a.m.)

For students of the School of Education, School of Informatics, School of Engineering, and the School of Agriculture Sciences

〇1st Graduation Ceremony for Graduate Students (10:20 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.)

For students of the Graduate School of Education and Human Development, Graduate School of Engineering, Graduate School of International Development, Graduate School of Environmental Studies, and the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences

〇2nd Graduation Ceremony for Undergraduate Students (11:20 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.)

For students of the School of Humanities, School of Letters, School of Law, School of Economics, School of Science, and the School of Medicine

〇2nd Graduation Ceremony for Graduate Students (12:20 p.m. to 12:50 p.m.)

For students of the Graduate School of Humanities, Graduate School of Letters, Graduate School of Languages and Cultures, Graduate School of Law, Law School, Graduate School of Economics, Graduate School of Information Science, Graduate School of Informatics, Graduate School of Science, Graduate School of Medicine, Graduate School of Mathematics, and the Graduate School of Bioagricultural Sciences

1 Graduating undergraduate students (1st ceremony) must enter Toyoda Auditorium by 9:05 a.m.

Graduating graduate students (1st ceremony) must enter Toyoda Auditorium by 10:05 a.m.

Graduating undergraduate students (2nd ceremony) must enter Toyoda Auditorium by 11:05 a.m.

Graduating graduate students (2nd ceremony) must enter Toyoda Auditorium by 12:05 p.m.

People with a fever or other cold-like symptoms may not enter the auditorium. (We will conduct temperature checks at the entrance.)

Attendees (family members of graduating students, etc.) and faculty and staff members may not enter Toyoda Auditorium.

  • To avoid the 3C’s (especially within and around Toyoda Auditorium), please be thorough with wearing a mask, washing hands, cough etiquette, and disinfecting.

  • We will limit the number of people who can enter Toyoda Auditorium (around 500 people). Graduating students who cannot enter the auditorium (around 250 people) may participate in the ceremony from the School of Economics Kitan Hall on a simultaneous broadcast.

  • Social gatherings with food & drinks are prohibited.

2 To prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will restrict the number of people allowed in each hall, and there will be no waiting room prepared for attendees (family members of graduating students etc.) for this year’s ceremony.

The ceremony can be viewed on a simultaneous broadcast from the Nagoya University website.
