Professor Shigehiro Yamaguchi Wins JSPS Prize

Professor Shigehiro Yamaguchi of the Research Center for Materials Science was selected for the 9th (FY2012) JSPS Prize.

The JSPS Prize recognizes and flexibly supports young researchers to encourage them as future academic research leaders with the potential to become Nobel Prize candidates.

Professor Yamaguchi’s award-winning research was entitled ‘Creation and New Functions of π-Electron Materials with Main Group Elements’.
