Brother Industries launches new joint research laboratory at Nagoya University

Nagoya University has established a joint research laboratory with Brother Industries, Ltd. (hereinafter, “Brother Industries”), called the Brother Industries Co-Creation and Development Laboratory. Headquartered in Nagoya, Brother Industries (President: Kazufumi Ikeda) is a multinational electronics and electrical equipment company.

The Brother Industries Co-Creation and Development Laboratory was established as part of a program at Nagoya University that seeks to create joint lectures and laboratories with corporate partners. By bringing in external experts from these organizations, the program aims to promote the development of both education and research, as well as to contribute broadly to society. It is hoped that this type of collaboration will produce various technological advancements.
