Nagoya University’s Two Projects Adopted as FY2016 JSPS Core-to-Core Program

Two projects at Nagoya University have been adopted as part of the FY 2016 Core-to-Core Program of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).

The Core-to-Core Program aims to establish sustainable cooperative relations that connect research and educational hubs between Japan and other countries around the world, in regard to research projects which are considered to be advanced and internationally important, or are expected to contribute to solving various problems in local regions. In doing so, this program also aims to create world-class or regional research cooperation hubs in the corresponding fields, and develop young researchers who will play a core role in the next generation.

Nagoya University’s two projects adopted as this program are the following:

Asia-Africa Science Platform

(Term of Support: April 2016 – March 2019)

Study of GNSS satellite anomaly in the Asian and African equatorial region

Program Title: Research Hub for Compact Mobility Model in the ASEAN Region
