Three Nagoya University Professors Presented with Certificates for Being Highly Cited Researchers by Clarivate Analytics

Three Nagoya University researchers have been recognized as Clarivate Analytics’ "Highly Cited Researchers (researchers whose papers are highly cited throughout the world) 2017," and a certificate awarding ceremony was held at the President’s reception room at Nagoya University on June 1, 2018.

Representative Director Hirofumi Hino, Government & Academia Senior Director Asako Watanabe, and a staff member of Clarivate Analytics visited our university, and with the attendance of President Seiichi Matsuo and Trustee Masahide Takahashi of Nagoya University, Mr. Hino presented the certificate to the selected researchers: Prof. Kenichiro Itami of the Institute of Transformative Bio-Molecules, Prof. Hitoshi Sakakibara of the Graduate School of Bioagricultural Sciences, and Prof. Shin’ichi Nojiri of the Graduate School of Science. Also, a staff member of Clarivate Analytics explained the methods of selecting highly cited researchers and demonstrated data analysis, and participants all listened to them with interest.
