Professor Kazuo Shiokawa Elected as President of the Scientific Committee on Solar Terrestrial Physics (SCOSTEP)

Professor Kazuo Shiokawa, Vice Director of the Institute for Space-Earth Environmental Research (ISEE) and also Director of the Center for International Collaborative Research at ISEE, Nagoya University, was elected through a vote by representatives from each country as President of the Scientific Committee on Solar Terrestrial Physics (SCOSTEP), an interdisciplinary body of the International Council for Science, during its General Council Meeting held in Montreal, Canada, on July 13, 2019.
