Nagoya University to Participate in ‘CO2 Emissions Reduction/Light-Down Campaign’ in Summer 2014

In response to the "Carbon Dioxide Emissions (CO2) Reduction/Light-Down Campaign" led by the Japanese Ministry of the Environment to encourage simultaneous lights-out nationwide for a certain period of time, Nagoya University will turn off the lamp of the outdoor clock on Toyoda Auditorium, as well as lamps in the Green Belt Garden on its Higashiyama Campus, for two hours between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. on June 21 (summer solstice day) and July 7 (the Ministry-led Cool Earth Day) 2014.
