Cirque du Soleil is a Canadian entertainment organization composed of about 4,000 artists and staff members from over 50 countries.
The integration of performances that push the limits of human capabilities with their high artistic qualities has drawn high praise from around the world, and their most recent performance in Japan, "Daihatsu Totem," is currently showing in Nagoya.
On this occasion, Nagoya University will invite Cirque du Soleil’s artistic director, Neelanthi Vadivel, and one of its Japanese performers of Totem, Umihiko Miya. They will introduce the attractiveness of Cirque du Soleil from a multilateral perspective, including the culture of Canada and anecdotes related to the performance.
Please take this opportunity to listen to talks from the female director and the Japanese artist, who play active roles in a global entertainment company.
