Professor Hiroshi Suzuki selected as 2024 InaRIS Fellow

Professor Hiroshi Suzuki of the Graduate School of Medicine has been selected as a 2024 InaRIS (Inamori Research Institute for Science) Fellow by the Inamori Foundation. Professor Suzuki’s research focuses on advanced cancer treatment and genetics, with a focus on the evolution of space-time genetic regulation in cancer cells by eccDNA. The InaRIS Fellowship provides a fund of one hundred million yen over ten years for researchers whose work is considered to have the potential to deliver a quantum leap in their field. The size and length of the funding reflects the exceptional standard of the researchers’ work and the role it is expected to play in the future of Japanese science.
