Prof. Yoshizumi Miyoshi Receives 37th Inoue Prize for Science (FY2020)

Professor Yoshizumi Miyoshi of the Institute for Space-Earth Environmental Research at Nagoya University has received the Inoue Foundation for Science’s 37th Inoue Prize for Science (FY2020).

The award is given to researchers under the age of 50 who have presented remarkable findings as a result of their fundamental research in the natural sciences.

The subject of his award-winning research is "Study on accelerations and scattering of the energetic electrons in Geospace as an elementary process of space weather."

The award ceremony was held online on February 4, 2021.
