Professor Kenichiro Itami, Center Director of the Institute of Transformative Bio-Molecules, Nagoya University, has been selected to receive the 23rd Yomiuri Techno Forum Gold Medal Prize.
This Prize is awarded to three young Japanese scientists who have made outstanding achievements in science and technology every year. Professor Itami’s award-winning research is the "development of catalysts for rapid synthesis and the creation of functional molecules."
The award ceremony will be held in Tokyo on April 20, 2017.
