Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine Professor Hiroshi Nishigori has been selected as a 2025 Karolinska Institutet Prize for Research in Medical Education (KIPRIME) Fellow in recognition of his international achievements in medical education research. This is the first time that a Japanese national has been selected.
KIPRIME Fellows is an initiative jointly funded by Karolinska Institutet and the Gunnar Höglund and Anna-Stina Malmborg Foundation in Sweden. It aims to nurture the next generation of KIPRIME winners by offering mentoring and development activities. Every other year, 14 researchers who have achieved outstanding results in medical education research are selected.
Professor Nishigori participated in a three-day workshop held in Stockholm, Sweden, in early October. The event was a chance to learn from KIPRIME winners and build a global network among this year’s fellows.
