Two proposals regarding studies at Nagoya University — one on striga (a parasitic plant) based on leading, cooperative research by the Institute of Transformative Bio-Molecules (ITbM) and the International Center for Research and Education in Agriculture (ICREA), and the other on the fusion and practical application of algae-derived highly-efficient fuel production, conducted by the Graduate School of Engineering — have been referred to the 7th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7), which will be held on August 28 to 30, 2019.
