NU ‘Go’ Club Team Wins the 36th Jumbo ‘Go’ Group Championship (in Limited Class)

The Nagoya University (NU) Go (a strategic board game) Club won first prize (in the limited class competed by each team consisting of 11 members with their total "dan" ranks of 30 or lower) of the 36th Go Jumbo Group Championship, held at the Chubu Head Office of the Nihon Ki-in (known as the Japan Go Association) on February 18, 2018.

This is a tournament competed by teams consisting of 11 members (one captain and ten members). Although this was only the second time the NU Go Club has competed in the tournament, all NU Go Club team members, including many first-year student members, won all four of their matches, which led the team to win the championship.
