Professor Tetsuya Higashiyama of the Institute of Transformative Bio-Molecules Selected to Win the 2019 Asahi Prize

Professor Tetsuya Higashiyama of the Institute of Transformative Bio-Molecules, Nagoya University, has been selected to receive the 2019 Asahi Prize, according to an announcement by the Asahi Shimbun (a Japanese newspaper publisher) on January 1, 2020.

This prize is presented by the Asahi Shimbun Foundation to honor distinguished individuals or groups in academics, arts, and other fields who have greatly contributed to advancements in culture and society in Japan. The award ceremony will be held in Tokyo on January 29, 2020.
