Former NU Designated Associate Prof. Awarded Laos Friendship Medal

Nagoya University graduate and former Designated Associate Professor Hiroyuki Seto (currently an associate professor at Niigata University of International and Information Studies) has been awarded the Medal of Friendship by the Prime Minister of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. Professor Seto received the medal in recognition of his significant contributions to the development of Laos, which include many years devoted to the promotion of academic exchanges between Laos and Japan, as well as the establishment of the Nagoya University Research and Education Center for Japanese Law in Laos.

The award ceremony was held at the National University of Laos on August 11, 2017.
