Assistant Professor Mika Nomoto of the Center for Gene Research Receives 13th L’Oréal-UNESCO Japan National Fellowship for Women in Science

Assistant Professor Mika Nomoto of the Nagoya University Center for Gene Research has been selected to be a recipient of the 13th L’Oréal-UNESCO Japan National Fellowship for Women in Science.

This award was established in 2005 by Nihon L’Oréal in cooperation with the Japanese National Commission for UNESCO to encourage young female scientists to continue their research activities at educational or research institutions within the country.

Assistant Professor Nomoto’s award-winning research concerns "The development of in vitro protein synthesis system and the analysis of plant immune response using this method."
