Nagoya University Track & Field Club Wins First Prize in Chunichi Seino ‘Ekiden’ (Road Relay Race)

The Ekiden (long-distance road relay race) team of the Nagoya University Track & Field Club won the first prize (category: General A) at the 39th Taguchi Fukuju Cup Chunichi Seino Ekiden, held at the Asanaka Athletic Park Inter Colosseum in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, on February 18 (Sun), 2018.

This race is an annual large-scale Ekiden competition made up of about 50 college student teams and working adult teams in the Tokai region. Nagoya University Track & Field Club teams enter the race every year and have experienced placing high and winning other prizes, but this was the first time for the Nagoya University Track & Field Club to win the first prize.
