Nagoya University Human Powered Airplane Team Wins First Prize in the 2016 Japan International Birdman Rally

The Nagoya University Human Powered Airplane Team "AirCraft" won the first prize in the category of time trial of Human-Powered Aircraft (HPA) in the 2016 Japan International Birdman Rally, held in Lake Biwa, Shiga Prefecture, Japan, on July 30 and 31, 2016.

In this category, participants compete on the speed of flight going to the 500 meter U-turn point and returning to the starting point.

The team previously won the same category of the competition in 2014.
