Mr. Sota Fujii, a third-year student of Nagoya University Lower Secondary School, became the youngest professional Shogi (strategic board game also known as Japanese chess) player at 14 years and two months of age in October 2016. He achieved 29 consecutive wins as of June 26 (Mon), 2017, setting a new all-time record for the first time in 30 years.
