Nagoya University sincerely regrets to announce that the university graduation ceremony and degree conferral ceremonies at each undergraduate/graduate school, scheduled for March 25, 2020 (Wed), have been cancelled. This decision has been made in order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, as well as to prioritize the health and safety of our graduating students.
Details regarding how to receive diploma, certificate of graduation/completion, academic transcript, etc. will be provided on each undergraduate/graduate school’s website.
The graduation ceremony is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for students, their guardians and the other important people in their lives. This decision was not taken lightly and so it is with the deepest regret that we announce its cancellation.
We congratulate our students on their graduation and wish them nothing but success with the next step of their journeys.
The President’s congratulations message will be posted on the university website on Tuesday, March 24.

Information regarding graduation parties and other related events to be hosted by the undergraduate/graduate schools or Alumni Associations will be provided on each undergraduate/graduate school’s website.
