Emeritus Professor Kunihito Koumoto Selected to Win the NIMS Award 2020

Nagoya University Emeritus Professor Kunihito Koumoto (Senior Researcher of Nagoya Industrial Science Research Institute and Distinguished Adjunct Professor of King Abdulaziz University) has been selected to receive the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) Award 2020, according to an announcement by NIMS on September 7, 2020.

The NIMS Award is presented to researchers around the world in recognition of their outstanding achievements in materials science and technology. This year’s recipients were selected from top scientists in the field of "materials for thermal energy conversion and thermal management."

Emeritus Professor Koumoto has been selected to win the NIMS Award 2020 for his "Development of environmental-friendly inorganic thermoelectric materials."

The award ceremony and the award winning lecture will take place as a part of NIMS WEEK 2020, which will be held online on November 27, 2020.
