The School of Humanities and the Graduate School of Humanities invite you to explore the many ways people have expressed, imagined, and understood the human experience across time and cultures. Here, you can immerse yourself in a wide spectrum of disciplines—literature, history, linguistics, philosophy, anthropology, sociology, and geography—each offering a unique perspective on how human beings think, create, and live together.
Beyond our undergraduate programs, we also offer vibrant graduate studies in fields such as Art History, Gender Studies, Cinema and Media Studies, Japanese Culture, and Indian Philosophy. These diverse areas of study encourage students to look beyond borders, engage deeply with cultural traditions, and question the assumptions that shape our world today.
At a moment when societies everywhere are facing profound change, the humanities help us ask the essential questions: What does it mean to live a meaningful life? How can we learn from the past to create a more just and inclusive future? In the Graduate School of Humanities, you will join a community of curious minds committed to exploring these questions—and to carrying the spirit of discovery into the wider world.
