
At the graduation ceremony on March 25, 2026, Nagoya University held a ceremony to honor the winners of the 2025 Nagoya University President’s Award. The prize was established in 2003 to honor students with exceptional achievements in academic study, extracurricular activities, and societal outreach.
In the “Commitment to Learning” category, which honors undergraduate students in their final year who possess particularly outstanding academic records, a total of nine students were honored, with one student selected from each school.

Nagoya University also honored winners of the “Commitment to Extracurricular Activities” category, which commends students and groups for excellent results in extracurricular activities and society outreach. Four individuals and one group were selected, including Nozomi Kawabe, who placed third in the intercollegiate racewalking competition and set a new record for Nagoya University, and the Formula Team FEM, which placed first in the EV category of the national championships for a third consecutive year.

- Planning and managing activities with companies and local governments to reduce food waste

- Three consecutive wins at the national championships in the EV category for racing car construction
