Research seminar: Concurrent production of formic acid/formate through CO2 reduction and polymer waste hydrolysate oxidation

A professor stands at the front of a room explaining a diagram projected on a screen.

Dr. Rabah Boukherroub (University of Lille, CNRS) will give an informal research seminar summarizing his group’s recent results on the production of a sustainable fuel or green chemical at both cathode and anode of a hybrid electrolyzer consisting of CO2 reduction and PET hydrolysate oxidation into formate/formic acid (FA), a promising liquid organic hydrogen carrier (LOHC).

Date: December 2, 2025 (Tuesday)

Location: ES Building, ES-034
