Studium Generale
An 800-year-old European tradition of "open university". Now at Nagoya University!
Studium Generale is a series of introductory level talks in English by Nagoya University faculty members and other guests. Topics cover any research or teaching field. Everybody is welcome to attend any lecture!
The main purpose of Studium Generale is to offer practice in listening to lectures in English.
Period: October 27 – December 15
Every Tuesday and Thursday evening 6:30-7:30pm (Except holidays)
Venue: Engineering and Science Building ES034
Attend as many lectures as you want, whenever you want.
Anybody who attends 7 or more lectures may request a Certificate of Completion signed by a Vice President of Nagoya University. Register by November 23 if you want this.
