Nagoya University Graduation Ceremony Fall 2022 and Nagoya University Entrance Ceremony Fall 2022 will be held as follows.

The schedule is subject to change in light of the spread of COVID-19. In such cases, you will be informed through the website.

Nagoya University Graduation Ceremony Fall 2022

Date and Time : Tuesday, September 27, 2022

Start time: 10:30 a.m. (Please enter by 10:15 a.m.)

Venue: Toyoda Auditorium, Nagoya University

Eligibility: Students graduating from undergraduate and graduate schools in September 2022

*Details about the Degree Ceremony at your undergraduate/graduate school will be announced separately by your respective undergraduate/graduate school.

Nagoya University Entrance Ceremony Fall 2022

Date and Time : Saturday, October 1, 2022

Start time: 10:30 a.m. (Please enter by 10:15 a.m.)

Venue: Toyoda Auditorium, Nagoya University

Eligibility: Students admitted in October 2022 (Both regular undergraduate and graduate students. Including those who will enter the university on campus)

Please note the following

  • The ceremony will be conducted in English.

  • The ceremony will be live-streamed to prevent the spread of COVID-19,as well as for the benefit of overseas/distant residents and their families.

The URL for the live broadcast will be posted on this page before the ceremony begins.

  • Admission to the Toyoda Auditorium will be limited to half of its capacity (approximately 500 people). Relatives, faculty and staff may enter if there are enough seats available.

  • To prevent infection by the COVID-19, those who are on standby at home or have fever or other cold symptoms will not be admitted. We will conduct temperature checks at the entrance.

  • Please avoid the 3C’s (especially in and around the Toyoda Auditorium), and be sure to wear a Non-woven mask, wash your hands, observe coughing etiquette, and use disinfectant.

  • If you have a disability and require assistance, please contact your undergraduate/ graduate school in advance.
