Without limiting intellectual property activities to protection and utilization of intellectual property, the Intellectual Property Office is aiming to support the university's continuous research development and establishment of long-term industry-academia partnership.
Therefore, the Intellectual Property Office is positioned as one organization in the Headquarter Office for Industry, Academia, and Government Cooperation, an organization to perform positive and systematic promotion of industry-academia-government coordination, to undertake the following roles.

  1. Study and gathering of market information, provision of information about positioning research
  2. Gathering and patenting research results
  3. Utilization of research results
  4. Development and support of research strategy
  5. Support Basis: Function of infrastructure that supports the four roles a-d.

    3. Utilization of research results: To connect with technology transfer, joint research, and formation of consortium by utilizing intellectual property, including patent rights, copyrights, know-how, and materials
