Nagoya University Work Support Office receives Nagoya Challenge Award for disability support

Nagoya University's Work Support Office has been presented with a Nagoya Challenge Award by Nagoya City. It received the award for its work in supporting the employment of people with disabilities at Nagoya University.  

 

The award is presented to organizations which have put effort into promoting the employment of people with disabilities. It also certifies them as Disability Friendly Organizations recognized by the city of Nagoya. 

 

Nagoya University was praised not only for the number of people with disabilities that it employs, but also for its active creation of disability-friendly employment opportunities and the support available from dedicated support staff. Akihiro Morita, director, and Miyuki Mita, vice-director of the Work Support Office accepted the prize at a ceremony on January 17th, 2024.
