Dr. Kunihiro Morishima Selected to Receive the MEXT Minister's Award at the 4th Space Development Utilization Grand Prize

Designated Assistant Professor Kunihiro Morishima of the Graduate School of Science at Nagoya University has been selected to receive the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award at the 4th Space Development Utilization Grand Prize, which was announced by the Cabinet Office of Japan on March 19, 2020.

The Space Development Utilization Grand Prize recognizes outstandingly successful projects that have made great contributions to the advancement of space development and utilization -- such as projects that have implemented pioneering initiatives for advancement -- with the goal of helping to promote space development and utilization, as well as raising public awareness and understanding. At the Grand Prize, the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award is presented to a project with particularly outstanding merits from the viewpoint of promoting science and technology.
