Doctoral Student at the Graduate School of Science Receives the L'Oréal-UNESCO Award for Women in Science 2014

Ms. Akiko Yagi, a second-year doctoral student at the Graduate School of Science, Nagoya University, has received the Japan Encouragement Prize of the L'Oréal-UNESCO Award for Women in Science 2014. Under the philosophy of the Award program, this prize is one of the domestic prizes awarded to doctoral or postdoctoral young female scientists in over 60 countries around the world, with an aim to encourage and support their research at domestic research or educational institutions for one year.
