Associate Prof. Yukikazu Takeoka Selected to Receive the Ichimura Prize in Science

Associate Professor Yukikazu Takeoka of the Nagoya University Graduate School of Engineering has been selected to receive the 48th (FY2015) Ichimura Prize in Science for Excellent Achievement. The Ichimura Prize in Science is awarded by the New Technology Development Foundation to technical researchers or groups who have contributed to progress in academic fields and made outstanding achievements in research conducted at universities and research institutes that have the potential to yield practical applications. This year, the Ichimura Prize in Science for Excellent Achievement will be awarded to two researchers, and the Ichimura Prize in Science for Distinguished Achievement will be awarded to five researchers.                

 

His prize-winning research is about the "production of colored pigments with black and white particles."

The award ceremony will be held on April 25 (Mon), 2016, at the Imperial Hotel.
