Graduate Departments: Mathematics
The Graduate School of Mathematics is a place where one studies mathematics and applications of mathematics. The subjects we study cover almost all areas of pure mathematics and many of applied mathematics and mathematical sciences. Our school enjoys a high international reputation for research in several branches, such as arithmetic geometry, representation theory, algebraic and complex geometry, and mathematical physics. The school aims at guiding students to acquire fundamental skills in mathematics and to have a deep understanding of mathematics to make exploratory research in mathematical sciences and creative activities in related areas. To this end we present various programs for education. Our graduate courses provide many lectures on mathematics and related topics ranging from fundamental to advanced levels. We offer interactive seminars and research guidance for a wide range of subjects to encourage our students to develop their own studies.
